Board Members needed for asra Housing Group

PrintLocation: Midlands, Greater London

asra Housing Group is proud to be one of the UK’s leading housing and regeneration providers. As a not for profit organisation we are striving to be the affordable housing provider of first choice.

Annual Salary £8,402

The Group’s property portfolio contains more than 13,000 homes in the Midlands and London and we are dedicated to investing in our customers’ homes and their local communities. We want to be a responsible provider that sees things from the customers’ perspective, while serving diverse communities on their doorsteps.

Following a governance review and the appointment of a new chair, we wish to appoint a number of new board members who have the skills and ability to manage a complex organisation. In particular we would welcome applications from individuals with an understanding of;

  • Developing new affordable homes / construction
  • Housing association finances and the current financial challenges that face the social housing sector.

These are paid positions and the post-holder will need to be able to dedicate 2 to 3 days per month of their time. Meetings are held in London and Leicester. The board, in due course, will also wish to appoint, from amongst its number, at least one new sub-committee chair. The annual salary for a sub-committee chair is £10,850.
