Westway HA is recruiting a Housing Support Worker

westway_logoOperating since 1988, Westway Housing Association is a progressive community led registered housing association working across West & North West London.
We are looking to recruit to the following post to bring added value to our activities at Westway House in Ladbroke Grove W11.

Housing Support Worker – Salary  £15,788.04 p.a.

We are seeking an experienced and committed person to join our team at Westway House to give support to some residents who may have complex needs. The ideal candidate must have experience in working in a supported housing environment with knowledge of best practices and delivering support which achieves independence, promotes and empowers service users. The job is on a rota basis and the applicant will be expected to work some mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

You will need to have excellent organisational skills, and be computer literate.  However most importantly, you will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, including a caring supportive and flexible attitude. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal/written and be confident in dealing with a diverse range of issues and enjoy communicating with people of all ages.
