Lucy joined Nehemiah UCHA from Waterloo Housing Association where she was Housing Manager (Service Improvement), responsible for the development and continuous improvement of all housing management policies and the department’s strategic response to legislation, regulation and policy changes.   She brings 24 years of housing experience from working with a mixture of housing associations and local authorities around the Midlands area.

Commenting on her new role Lucy says:  “I am very excited to join Nehemiah UCHA and I am very aware of the increasing demand on social housing across the West Midlands where the housing waiting list has increased dramatically due to the recession and many people find themselves unable to set up their own homes.

Nehemiah UCHA has a great reputation in the area and is able to respond to changing customer needs in a forever changing environment. I look forward to developing and implementing new ideas and services.  My previous roles have always been customer focused and I have a passion for resident involvement which I know is also key at Nehemiah UCHA.  I want our residents to work in partnership with Nehemiah UCHA to develop services to meet their needs, challenging our performance and suggesting areas where we can improve.”

Speaking about the senior appointment, Llewellyn Graham, chief executive of Nehemiah UCHA, commented: “I would like to officially welcome Lucy to Nehemiah UCHA. With an exceptionally strong track record, Lucy brings a wealth of relevant experience to our business so she is sure to play a significant role in the future successes of Nehemiah UCHA and help take the association to the next stage in its development.”
